About me
I’ve been married to my wife Sharon sense 2014. We have two kids named Zoe and Levi who keep us busy.
Since 2021 I’ve served as the Transformation Pastor at Soul City Church in Chicago IL. I began pastoring in 2015 as the High School Pastor at the Vineyard Church of Central Illinois before becoming the Community Life Pastor there until 2021.
I’ve been following Jesus seriously since 2009 (even though I grew up in the church). Gradually Jesus became more real to me as I experienced undeniable encounters with the love and presence of God in college. Eventually I couldn’t do anything else but say yes to the mission I sensed He was inviting me into. I’ve been on that journey ever since.
Hip-hop, spoken word, and poetry have always been in my bones. I began rapping and writing as a way of expressing my faith. I owe my start in ministry work to the joy I found in making music and other creative pieces.
Other random things about me: I love watching action and superhero films (I’m more of a Marvel Universe guy over the DC Universe). I keep up with NBA basketball, College Football, and the NFL as much as I can. I’m loyal to our Chicago teams (even when it hurts). I enjoy playing basketball for fun, reading, spending time with my family & friends, and taking the occasional Sunday nap.
